
A mixed bag of activities for the Natural Ability athletes these passed couple of weeks. Whilst some are taking their well earned two weeks recovery, others are into their winter training phase, and others embracing the 1/2 and marathon races currently being held throughout Europe. Some superb results at the Istanbul 15K, Valencia Marathon and The Shakespeare Half Marathon and this weekend a number of athletes racing in the Benidorm Half Marathon. For those who have already embarked on their winter training phase remember that the focus is on technique, form and training at the correct intensity. 'Train today to train tomorrow' what's the point of smashing a BIG session today if you have to take 2/3 days off to recover. Of course there is a time and a place for hard work but as we know most athletes train 'too hard too often'. Consistency is the key and will see you right come race day, we like to call it 'Keeping it Green'.
